Online Tutors from Pakistan, Teaching the UK Curriculum

Your child gets one dedicated tutor, the same hour every week, working from the exact AQA, Edexcel or OCR specification their school uses. Because our tutors are based in Pakistan, three hour-long sessions a week costs £60 a month — not £60 an hour.

Why families in the UK choose a tutor from Pakistan

Four reasons this works better than most parents expect.

💰

A fraction of UK tutoring costs

A UK-based private tutor typically charges £25–£40 an hour. Our Standard plan is £60 a month for three hour-long sessions every week — roughly £5 a session.

🌐

The time difference works for you

Pakistan is 4–5 hours ahead of the UK. Your child's 5pm after-school slot is a normal evening for the tutor, so good tutors are genuinely available at the times you need.

💬

Urdu when it helps, English when it counts

Lessons are taught in English because that is what your child sits exams in — but a tutor who can switch to Urdu to unlock a difficult idea is a real advantage.

🎓

Trained on the English curriculum

Our tutors do not teach a Pakistani syllabus. They work from the same AQA, Edexcel and OCR specifications and national curriculum programmes your child's school uses.

How we vet every tutor

We do not run an open marketplace where anyone can sign up and list themselves. Every tutor on our team is recruited, tested and assigned by us, and we take responsibility for the match. Here is what a tutor has to clear before they teach a single one of our students:

  • Subject qualification check. A degree or equivalent qualification in the subject they teach, verified against original documents.
  • English curriculum assessment. A written test on the specification they will teach — the actual AQA, Edexcel or OCR content, not general subject knowledge.
  • Live teaching trial. A recorded mock lesson assessed for clarity, pacing, questioning technique and how they handle a student who is stuck.
  • Spoken English screening. Assessed for clarity and neutrality of accent by a UK-side reviewer.
  • Identity and reference checks. Government ID verified, plus references from previous teaching roles.
  • Ongoing review. Because every session is recorded, we spot-check real lessons rather than relying on a one-off interview.

You are never left with the wrong tutor

If your child and their tutor are not clicking — wrong pace, wrong style, wrong personality — message us and we will reassign. That is not a complaints process, it is a normal part of the service. Getting the match right matters more than defending our first guess.

What actually happens in a session

Sessions are one-to-one, one hour long, and always with the same tutor. There is no rotating pool and no group class. A typical hour breaks down like this:

MinutesWhat happensWhy it matters
0–5Homework review from the last sessionNothing is set and forgotten — the tutor sees what stuck and what did not.
5–15Recap of the previous topicRetrieval practice. Short, deliberate, and the single most reliable way to move knowledge into long-term memory.
15–45New topic, taught and worked through togetherDirect teaching followed by guided practice on the tutor's shared whiteboard.
45–55Independent practice while the tutor watchesThe tutor sees the mistakes as they happen rather than reading about them later.
55–60Homework set and the next session agreedYour child leaves knowing exactly what to do before next time.

Every session is recorded

Recordings go straight to your parent dashboard. You can watch any lesson, at any time, without sitting in the room — useful for checking the teaching quality, and genuinely useful for your child when they revise.

A written progress report every week

Not a tick-box. A short written note on what was covered, what your child found difficult, what improved since last week, and what the tutor is focusing on next.

Session times in UK and Pakistan hours

Why the time difference is an advantage, not a problem.

Pakistan Standard Time is 5 hours ahead of the UK in winter and 4 hours ahead during British Summer Time. UK after-school and weekend slots fall inside normal working hours for our tutors.

Questions parents ask before booking

Yes. Our teaching team is based in Pakistan, which is exactly why we can offer a dedicated one-to-one tutor for £60 a month rather than the £25–£40 per hour a UK-based tutor typically charges. Every tutor teaches the English National Curriculum and is familiar with AQA, Edexcel and OCR specifications.
Our tutors are fluent English speakers with clear, neutral accents, and all of them teach English-medium curricula every day. You will meet your assigned tutor in a free introductory session before you pay anything, so you can hear them teach your child and decide for yourself.
Yes. Every tutor is trained on the English National Curriculum and works from the same specifications your child's school uses — AQA, Edexcel or OCR at GCSE, and the national curriculum programmes of study at KS1, KS2 and KS3. Homework and progress reports reference your child's actual school topics.
Pakistan is 5 hours ahead of the UK in winter and 4 hours ahead during British Summer Time. That works in your favour: a 5pm UK session is 10pm in Pakistan in winter and 9pm in summer, so normal UK after-school slots are available without anyone teaching at an unreasonable hour.
Yes. Lessons are taught in English because that is what your child is examined in, but our tutors speak Urdu and can explain a difficult concept in Urdu when it helps. Parent communication is available in English or Urdu, whichever you prefer.
You get a free introductory session with your matched tutor before your first payment. If the fit is not right, tell us and we will match you with a different tutor or you simply walk away — there is no contract and nothing is charged.
